Apple has done it again. : Apple Time Capsule MC344LL/A 2TB [OLD VERSION]

Having owned this for a few months, I must say it is not an revision over the old model. I use the Time Capsule with a Mac Mini and mid-2011 MacBook Air. Here are my issues:

> 5Ghz relationship is flakey. It tends to stall, then creep along, and then become non responsive. This is practically daily occurrence.
> Oftentimes, Time engine cannot find the Time Capsule, so there are many missed backups. I have to unplug the Capsule to get Time engine to see the disk again.
> About once a month, Time Capsule will say it cannot find the backup, so it has to create a new one. I can see and open the file in Finder, bUt Time engine won't see it. Never had this question with my older version Time Capsule.
> The relationship is just slow. I have compared it to our U-verse modem's direct wireless connection, and the Capsule seems about 30% slower in side-by-side comparisons.
> External Hdds plugged into the Time Capsule are not reliable. About half the time, Finder on my Mac Mini cannot see it until I reset the Time Capsule.

For hereafter backup needs, I will buy personel external disks and go with a more thorough wireless router from the likes of Linksys. As much as I enjoy Apple products, I cannot advise this one.
